Baruch Kintisch, M.B.A., J.D.Director of Marketing and Development

Baruch joined the Bar Foundation in 2015. He has an extensive background working in and promoting the legal services community. Baruch is well-known to many from his decade of advocacy at the Education Law Center. He recently operated a successful consulting firm for nonprofits, Pathway Strategies LLC. He earned an M.B.A. in marketing from Temple University Fox School of Business and a J.D. from Temple’s Beasley School of Law. Baruch also has experience as a teacher, social worker, attorney, lobbyist, and legislative aide. He was certified in 2016 in the Standards for Excellence Accreditation Program for nonprofit organizations.

Adrienne E. BrownMarketing & Development Coordinator

In February 2016, Adrienne joined the Bar Foundation as part-time Marketing & Development Associate. Once she learned the ropes, she was hired full-time as the Marketing & Development Coordinator in July 2016. Her background in communications, public relations, and event-planning allowed her to flex her skills in the legal community and advance the mission of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation.

Jessica R. Hilburn-Holmes, Esq.Executive Director

Jessica joined the Bar Foundation in 2013 as Executive Director. A former diplomat and international lawyer Jessica has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar since 1985. During her U.S. State Department career, Jessica was the Legal Adviser to Ambassador Richard Holbrooke in Germany.  At the inception of the United Nations Yugoslav War Crimes Tribunal, Jessica served in the Hague as an Expert-on-Mission in the Office of the Prosecutor. As Deputy in the Office of the Legal Counselor at the US Embassy in The Hague, Jessica’s assignments included liaison to the Scottish Court in the Netherlands for the Lockerbie/Pan Am 103 terrorism trial, and serving as  a member of the 1999 US Observer Delegation to the UNESCO Diplomatic Conference on the 1954 Hague Convention on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict.  A graduate of Brandeis University and the Georgetown University Law Center, Jessica brings over twenty-five years of legal, managerial and diplomatic experience, and a life-long commitment to working for equal access to justice, to the work of the Foundation.
