Rasheen Davis Merritt, Esq.

Rasheen Davis Merritt joined the Board of Trustees in 2022. Rasheen is Director and Assistant General Counsel at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where her practice focuses primarily on healthcare, general litigation, labor and employment matters, patient safety, and other healthcare-related legal matters. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel at CHOP, Rasheen was a Shareholder with Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman and Goggin. She was a litigator in the Health Care Liability Practice Group for 15 years. Prior to becoming an attorney Rasheen had over 7 years of experience as an underwriter and was a member of the Society of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science. She received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2002 and her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science in 1995.
