Legal Clinic for the Disabled Helps Mother Guarantee Treatment of Daughter After She's Gone

A 70-year-old mother with a daughter that has special needs made sure that her child will be taken care of after she is gone. She reached out to our nonprofit Partner, the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, who helped her work out a deposition with her doctors and had the court grant her and her other daughter co-guardianship. After taking care of her for her entire life, she wanted to make sure she could live just as well after she is no longer there. Her daughter will now be properly taken care of for the rest of her life and will continue to enjoy the experiences her mother exposed her to over the years.
