Mary Mance
Mary Mance joined the Philadelphia Bar Foundation as the Operations and Programs Coordinator and now serves as the Development and Programs Lead. She brings years of experience in operations and hospitality from her time with Marriott International, where she developed expertise in organizational efficiency and client engagement.
Mary holds an Associate’s degree in Liberal Studies from Montgomery County Community College and is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Community Engagement at Temple University, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and Social Entrepreneurship. She demonstrated her commitment to innovation as a member of her alma mater’s Usability Board, where she collaborated with the IT Department to enhance system updates and transitions.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mary is a talented spoken word artist and host. She has performed on notable platforms including Busboys and Poets in Washington, D.C., Voices in Power in Philadelphia, and Poetry Me, Please in New York City. Her work has also been featured at key events for the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, including the Access to Justice Awards and most recently, the Philly Justice Ball.
Mary’s blend of operational expertise, programmatic leadership, and creative insight makes her an invaluable contributor to the Philadelphia Bar Foundation’s mission to break down barriers to justice.
