Philadelphia Bar Foundation Welcomes Two Trustees
The Philadelphia Bar Foundation is pleased to welcome Marcy Hart, Esq., from Holland & Knight, and Brent W. Landau, Esq., from Hausfeld LLP to the Board of Trustees. Hart and Landau will share their deep knowledge and insight as the Bar Foundation advances its mission of equal access to justice and develops the Equal Justice Center project in Philadelphia.
A partner at Holland & Knight, Hart joins the Bar Foundation with more than 35 years of experience in real estate, business, and corporate law. She has extensive in-house and law firm experience in complex real estate transactions involving developers and family offices, along with private equity and institutional investors and funds. "I look forward to learning from the talented members of our community currently serving as Trustees, and I am eager to bring my practical business experience to the Board, especially in support of the Foundation's exciting Equal Justice Center project," said Hart.
Landau is Global Managing Partner of Hausfeld and a well-recognized antitrust litigator who maintains a robust pro bono practice. “Serving as a Trustee for the Bar Foundation is a natural extension of my passion for Hausfeld's pro bono and social justice work, and I am eager to support the Foundation’s programs and unrestricted annual grant activities," said Landau.
Landau is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he teaches a course in legal ethics. He also serves as counsel to claimants in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Independent Reconciliation and Reparations Program and similar programs throughout Pennsylvania.
