Philadelphia Bar Foundation Welcomes Four New Trustees
PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Bar Foundation welcomes Roberta A. Barsotti, Esq., Jeremy Menkowitz, Esq., Lora Spencer, Esq., and Patrice A. Toland, Esq. to their Board of Trustees. These individuals will utilize their respective expertise to help the Bar Foundation advance their mission of equal access to justice and develop the Equal Justice Center project in Philadelphia.
Barsotti is a Partner at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. As a tax lawyer and litigator specializing in trusts and estates, she represents individuals, families, charitable organizations, and corporate fiduciaries. She serves as an adjunct professor in the graduate tax program at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
Menkowitz is Deputy General Counsel at Comcast Corporation and former Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia.
Spencer is an associate in the Life Sciences Health Industry Group at Reed Smith LLP, where she focuses on litigation and regulatory matters. She was invited to join the Board as a Trustee after serving as a 2020 observer through the Foundation's Board Observer Program. Spencer also volunteers with the Foundation's nonprofit partner, Philadelphia VIP.
Toland is a Principal at Post & Schell P.C. and litigates in workers' compensation cases. She is an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and received the Martha J. Hampton Award from the Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section in 2019.
